- Equanimity – keeping an even mind when dealing with objects of our attachment and aversion
- Forgiveness – of oneself and others
- Loving Kindness – unconditional love for all beings
- Appreciating one’s human life – recognizing and fulfilling our potential
- Purification – 4 remedies to purify our mind of the imprints of non virtue
- Anger and Patience – overcoming anger and strengthening patience
- Exchanging Self and Other – letting go of cherishing self and cultivating cherishing others.
Tuesday Meditation
Commencing 2nd February
6pm – 7pm
Topics covered:
- How to meditate – simple tools for achieving inner balance and happiness in all circumstances
- Staying in the Now - training the mind to appreciate the present moment, reducing anxieties about the future and regrets from the past.
- Opening the Heart - experiencing the benefits of caring for ourselves and others
- Dealing with difficult emotions - how to transform difficult emotions
- We are what we think - understanding the mind and mental activity
- The Body-Mind connection - transforming physical and emotional problems
