Change can be daunting but it can also provide great opportunity and hope. Join us at Karuna for our workshop, How we find meaning, to learn how to confront change and find meaning in your life.
This workshop will encourage participants to embrace and explore aspirations, principles and what it means to offer service. Ultimately, our workshop will help you to develop the courage needed to live a meaningful life in a world that is ever changing.
Workshop presenter Venerable Carla Pearse is a counsellor and ordained Buddhist nun. She has taught and led retreats in India, Nepal and Australia. A popular presenter, she is highly regarded for her lively, down to earth style.

Spiritual Care with the Dying: Compassion in Action – Level 1 – Retreat
This 6-day residential retreat focuses on understanding death and dying from a spiritual perspective, drawing from the Tibetan Buddhist tradition and its application to end of life care.
The course is intensive and deeply experiential. The more we face and prepare for our own death, the more present we can be with others in preparing for theirs.

Meditation on Mondays
Karuna offers a meditation class every Monday from 4pm to 5pm. The guided meditations help participants experience relaxation of body and mind.
