Karuna’s Evening Craft Circles
Karuna’s Evening Craft Circles are free workshops for the most butter-fingered of beginner’s right through to artisans with the touch of Michelangelo who want to unleash their creative flare. Held at Karuna House at Windsor, Karuna provides all craft materials on the night, as well as refreshments. All we need is you and all those far-out ideas swimming through your head!
Not only will you be delving deep within your creative psyche, but you will be crafting for a great cause. At the end of November, Karuna host their famous annual Christmas Markets, and their wares are sourced straight from these Craft Circles! No matter how misshapen, or conversely how sublime and unique the crafts are, they all go on sale come November, where they often raise more than $40,000 for Karuna’s vital work.
These fun and inclusive evenings are a great way to meet others in the community. Do you need to get your teenager off the screen and out of the house? Do you not know what to do with your evenings now that Family Feud has been cancelled? Then Karuna’s monthly Evening Craft Circles are for you!

Karuna’s much loved Christmas Market is just around the corner!
Karuna House will be overflowing with unique gifts, decorations and festive foods for our annual charity Christmas Market on Friday, November 30.
If you are looking to get your Christmas shopping done early, our market is the perfect place to find handmade Christmas gifts, decorations or a pudding for Christmas Day. After completing your shopping stay for live music, drinks and lunch/dinner in our beautiful gardens.
There will also be free parking on Flynn Oval at the end of Cartwright Street for the event.
For 25 years Karuna has provided free palliative care to thousands of Brisbane residents so that they may choose to die peacefully in their homes surrounded by family and friends.
Every dollar you spend will contribute towards the care of someone in our community who is dying of a terminal illness. Our Christmas Market is Karuna’s biggest fundraiser. As a charity, we rely on the generosity of donors and the support of volunteers and the community to continue our vital work.
